This impressive collector coin is struck from 5 ounces of pure silver and enhanced with selective gold plating. The reverse features the new Canadian coat of arms designed by artist Cathy Bursey-Sabourin, the official version now used throughout the country. Its large 65 mm diameter allows the intricate heraldic details to be fully appreciated, including a decorative border depicting 13 provincial and territorial birds, forming a symbolic and visually rich “landscape” of Canada. Each coin is presented in a Royal Canadian Mint presentation case with a serialized certificate of authenticity. The mintage is limited to 1,300 pieces.
